2010 Concert Programme We already have a few events pencilled into the diary for 2010. In March we will be performing the Mayor's Annual Charity Concert in Ashby. The theme of the concert is 'A Last Night at the Proms', but this concert has an interesting twist to the theme. Want to know what it is? Well come along to the concert and we sure you will not be disappointed. In June we will be performing once again with The Seaforth Highlanders. This time the concert is to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Twinning Agreement between Ashby de la Zouch and Pithiviers. We will be welcoming guests from France and providing a concert of music drawing upon the best from Great Britain and France. In October we hope to be performing once again at Ibstock for another concert organised by the Ibstock Events Group. The theme of the concert is still to be agreed, however, rest assured it will be another fantastic evening of music to a full house. On 12th November we are already planning to give another Concert of Remembrance with The Seaforth Highlanders. And then once again December will be upon us and time for our Annual Christmas Concert. The 2009 Concert was another resounding success, with the concert band playing to a full venue - everyone enjoying the best of Christmas music and Christmas fayre. So a busy year ahead. ACB Lottery Success ACB was thrilled to receive a grant from the National Lottery in 2009. The money received has enabled us to purchase three timpani and a tuba.
